House rules
Centre Céramique is a public building where everyone is welcome and through which visitors are able to move freely. To ensure each individual enjoys their experience of Centre Céramique, we expect each visitor follow the house rules as set out below.
- Instructions given by library staff and/or security staff must be followed.
- Only drinks contained in a resealable cup or bottle are permitted, consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
- Consumption of food purchased elsewhere is only permitted in the Leescafé on the first floor.
- If you would like to make use of the Coffeelovers restaurant on the first floor you are obliged to purchase food or drink. Crockery and cutlery is to remain in the restaurant.
- Smoking and e-smoking is not allowed anywhere within the Centre Céramqiue building.
- Charging of personal devices is permitted on the condition that it does not cause a nuisance to others and the safety of other visitors is not compromised.
- Placing objects on the balustrades of the internal balconies is not permitted due to safety reasons.
- Study rooms and study areas are to be left tidy after use.
- In cases of nuisance and noise disruption, visitors may be denied access to Centre Céramique and to the use of its services by or on behalf of the management.
- Viewing, producing or spreading pornographic, violent, racist, discriminatory or threatening images and/or texts within Centre Céramqiue is not permitted.
- The operation of equipment in Centre Céramique is reserved for Centre Céramique employees only.
- No more than two magazines / newspapers can be used at the same time in the Leescafé.
- Pets are not allowed in Centre Céramique, except for guide dogs.
- Any occurrence of theft will be reported directly to the police. Pay close attention to your belongings, Centre Céramique is not responsible for any loss or theft.
- Your visit to Centre Céramique is at your own expense and risk.
- Centre Céramique is not liable for any damage suffered by the visitor as a result of an accident, nor any theft or damage to their property, unless such damage is the result or intent or gross negligence by Centre Céramique.
