Reservations
Reservations can only be made in Dutch and they can be made in three ways:
1. Via www.centreceramique.nl and via the computers in the library
- Go to ‘Bibliotheek’
- Go to ‘Catalogus’
- Look up the item(s) that you want to reserve.
- Click on ‘Reserveren'.
- Type your username and password in and click on ‘Aanmelden’. You will then be directed to ‘Mijn menu’.
- Choose the branch where you would like to collect the item(s).
- Click on ‘reserveer' and confirm by clicking on ‘OK’.
- You will see on the screen the latest reservation
2. Via the Bibliotheek Wise app (in Dutch)
- If you have not yet downloaded the app, click here for iPhone and here for Android
- Open the app
- If you’re not logged in: 'Kies dan uw bibliotheek' and tap 'selecteer'
- Enter your username / library pass number and password and tap 'aanmelden'
- Tap on the magnifying glass, this will bring you to the catalogue
- Search for the material you would like to reserve
- Tap 'Reserveer'
- Confirm by tapping on 'Reserveer'
- You will then see the latest confirmation of reservations on your screen.
3. Via a customer service representative on site at the library
When making a reservation the following conditions apply:
- Once your reservation is ready for collection, you will receive an email notification. If you require a letter confirmation by post this will cost €1.00 per reserved item. To set up email notifications on your account (only available in Dutch at this time), enter your email address in the cardholder information section once you are logged in. Ensure the ‘reserveringsberichten’ box is ticked.
- You are free to choose the pick-up location.
- Reservations can be made from the joint collections of Centre Céramique, library service points Heer and Malpertuis and the Cubiss network in Limburg.
- The costs for placing a reservation depends on your membership. This also applies to loan fees. For information about memberships and rates click here.
- There is a limit to the number of reservations that can be made at the same time, this varies from ten with the DELUXE membership to four for the other memberships.
- The reservation fee can be paid upon collection of your reserved item(s).
- When collecting your reservation, please bring the valid library card with which the reservation was made.
- Reservations can be cancelled up until the moment that the materials are processed. When you log in to ‘Mijn menu” you can view your pending and outstanding reservations. Cancelled reservations will not be charged.

Renewals
Renewals can only be made in Dutch and they can be made in three ways:
1. Via www.centreceramique.nl
- Go to ‘Bibliotheek’
- Go to ‘Mijn menu’
- Type your username and password in and click on ‘Aanmelden’.
- Go to the ‘Mijn menu’ tab and click on ‘Wat heb ik thuis’ for an overview of your borrowed items.
- Check the item(s) that you would like to renew and click on ‘verleng aangevinkte materialen’.
- Double check the new return date.
2. Via the Bibliotheek Wise app (in Dutch)
- If you have not yet downloaded the app, click here for iPhone and here for Android
- Open the app
- If you’re not logged in: 'Kies dan uw bibliotheek' and tap 'selecteer'
- Enter your username / library pass number and password and tap 'aanmelden'
- Tap 'Menu van…'
- Choose 'Wat heb ik thuis'
- Check the materials that you want to renew
- Then tap 'Verleng aangevinkte materialen'
- Confirm by tapping on 'Verlengen'
- You will then see the confirmation of renewals on your screen.
3. Via a customer service representative on site at the library, or the self-service machines.
- Scan your library card and choose ‘verlengen’
When renewing your borrowed items the following conditions apply:
- Materials that are reserved by other library members can’t be renewed.
- The new load period starts on the day you renew and lasts three or six weeks, depending on your membership.
- If you renew your loan after the return date you will be charged for the days the item was late.
- Items can be renewed up to three times.
- If you renew items that have loan fees applied, the fees will be recalculated according to the renewal period.
- Late fines and loan fees up to a maximum of €5.00 can be paid via iDeal or at your next library visit.

Email address
Members can receive notifications via email, however the information contained therein is currently only available in Dutch. See following advantages of opting for correspondence via email:
- Email notifications are free of charge, while notifications via post cost €1.00 each time
- If your reserved item is ready you can collect it the same day
- You can receive a reminder three days before your items are due
To provide or amend your email address via the www.centreceramique. nl website:
- Go to ‘Bibliotheek’
- Go to 'Mijn Menu'
- Type your username and password in and click on ‘Aanmelden’.
- Go to the ‘Mijn menu’ and choose the ‘algemene lenersgegevens’ to add or amend your email address. Don’t forget to choose which type of notifications you wish to receive.
